My name is Allie Bauer and I am the lead Makeup Artist of ABMA. My career in makeup started with my passion for the arts. I was an art teacher and always a student, learning and teaching my love of painting, sketching, and pottery. With age, I discovered my true love of makeup and the faces that I was able to enhance. Makeup is different on every single face and the canvas is alive, unique and beautiful before I even touch it. There isn’t a guideline or templates to use for every bride or client I encounter, and thats what I love about what I do. I use my knowledge of lighting, shadow, and color on my clients, which sets me apart from other artists. My art is always new, its living, its breathing, and it’s always changing. I get to listen to my clients and build off of their expectations; and its a privilege and an honor to be a part of the events they involve me with. I have 5 years of experience with bridal makeup, portrait makeup, movie makeup, special effects, and more.
